The Nebraska Medicine Geriatric Assessment Clinic provides a comprehensive evaluation of older persons who are experiencing memory loss and/or a complex health problems that rob them of their ability to perform essential day-to-day activities.  Led by a multidisciplinary team of expert providers from the University of Nebraska Medical Center,  the assessment includes physical exam, a review of medications, cognitive, functional and mood evaluations, and collaboration with the patient’s family of significant support persons.  A detailed treatment plan is developed and implemented with the patient, the family caregivers and the person’s primary care physician.

Methodist’s Aquatic Therapy Pool has certified aquatic therapists to help patients improve strength, balance, mobility, and range of motion. The pool uses true warm-water therapy and is zero-depth entry. Physician referral is required.
